I think that the project is really great as its the first time, I worked in group with nice people and we manage to get the work done quick.

Xtreme energy drink film-evaluation

 I made an advert with my group, we made an advert called Xtreme energy drink.where did I get my idea from? We got our idea from internet, our first idea was to do a advert about shoes but later we changed to energy drink, we had to think how we can attract our audience.



 I worked in groups of threes and it was me, Abbi and Ben. Abbi was really good at filming and she had a previous experience with filming. Ben was good at acting because he did drama in high school so we put him as our main actor and the person who does the voice over. Our weakness was planning because we had to do so many retakes.
 The story was that the energy drink makes you stronger, we had a creepy person chasing the main hero but once he drinks the energy drink then everything becomes normal and the creepy person disappears. That will make our audience want to buy our energy drink.



 My role was being the creepy person and I had to chase the main actor however it was not a difficult role because I only had to walk towards the main actor which was Ben.

 I was completely happy about my work because I really enjoy filming and I had a good and easy role in the advert.



 I learned how to use the camera with tripod and I managed to increase my acting skills. The main thing i knew was how to edit a video because I did media before and I am familiar with video editing.


 In future I will improve on camera skills because I don't know to make the camera concentrate on someone.


My editing techniques are putting audio and mark in tool because I already knew them.

For this assignment, we have to work on a advert, my teacher Mark gave us some examples to inspire us to create a master piece.

In this assignment we are supposed to produce a freaky image using our own photography using our skills. Once we had made our image it would be used in an advert.

I was scrolling through  freaky images on google chrome  and I chose 10 images I liked  and added on my blog. I chose one of them an image of  a eye and a hand trying to reach it. I chose this because it seems really unique and interesting.

The characteristics of freaky images is that its all made up on editing software. The images I took were all freaky and unusual. 

By searching on google images I found an image of unusual urban art work which inspired to create something similar for my project. I thought it might be interesting to get a picture of an eye and a picture of two hands, combining the two photos an making it look like one photo as if the hands are holding the pupil of the eye.

The location was not so important because I had to zoom in the photo of the eye and also the photo of the hands, therefore the background: location did not matter so much. I used the help of a friend who modeled for me and posed. I took the photo of my friend's eye and hands. The props that I used were: the camera- main equipment and red head light to brighten up the photo.

I took few pictures to begin with, It took me at least two retakes to capture the photo of an eye and four pictures of the hands. This was done to make sure that pictures come out as accurate and professional as possible.

Things that I learned while doing this assignment were: how to use Photoshop tools such as: cropping, use of colour filters and disappearing images tool. 
I also learned the names of camera shots and how to use them: especially the mid shot, close up and bird's eye view.

If I had to redo this assignment, in future I would improve my work by playing around with the Photoshop software and using its tools to change the colour of the eye and also to blur the hands. It will be interesting to create the same photo but with a background next time.


My final image meets the definition of my work stated in my proposal. I did exactly what I mentioned to do for this assignment in my proposal. 
In my opinion,I believe that I have met the assignment criteria by creating a freaky image that could be used for my advert.

I used Photoshop and I was on a filter called levels. I used this because it made the image more bright.

I got my idea for my montage image from google images. I took ten images and they were interesting but sadly my final idea had to be one picture. It was hard to choose but I ended up choosing one picture which was a picture of an eye and a hand trying to grab it. Later I chose my friend to be the actor, I took a picture of his eye and hand. I haven't finished it yet but my plan is to use Photoshop to edit it, I will crop the background and make the eye large and make the hand small. My main product is glasses and that's why I had the picture of an eye.

today session I am going to take a  Picture of a eye and a hand trying to reach it.

At the start of the lesson I decided to join two picture together. My idea was to take a picture of an eye and then take a picture of a hand. By using the photoshop software and my research from the internet I wanted to blend the picture of the hands in to the picture of the eye, turning it into one picture and making it look like as if the hands are holding the eye. I took pictures of the hand and the eye, I have also shown the mistakes I made while taking pictures but I managed to learn from my mistakes and improve them.

Today I worked on a magazine advert and this is how it appears. I used my logo and added the extra image and slogan. We worked in threes, the other two people I worked with had different ideas from mine.
After this was finished we had to decide whose idea was the best. Abbi in my group came up with the best idea she had a picture with logo and had a good background colour.

I made and advert  for my energy drink which is called Xtreme energy drink, I used my own design and edited on Phtoshop.




Evaluation.

 My idea came from internet. I was scrolling through  google images and found a perfect background for my advert. I chose this because it looked more interesting and also I change the filter. I picked green because it represents nature. I chose nature because it makes people think of outdoors which is a good combination towards exercise.

I used

•  cropping tool, crop the image and text.
•  free transformation, moving image around.
• new layer, to get the second image.
• colour filter, change the background image.
• text, the title for my logo.

I used those because  it made my advert look outstanding.
 I am happy with my advert because it matches the requirement, I also think that I did good so far.
 The improvements I will make are getting a new range of background and make the text look much better.
 I really enjoy the task and I learn a lot in this assignment and I am looking forward for future assignment.In this assignment I learnt how to use Photoshop. Things I learnt in Photoshop was cropping and changing colour filter.

Film Advert


Today we worked in groups which was me, Abbi and Ben.We made a film advert. The location we used was the B floor near the lift. We chose this location because it was dark and scary. The advert is about energy drink. Ben was the one who was drinking the energy drink and I had to chase him. Abbi was the cameramen and she filmed all of the scenes. It ended up really good and we finished it on time. Later we went back to the class to edit the video footage that we took using adobe premier pro.

I picked my favorite books and took a picture of them. I really enjoy those books and manage to find them here. Taking photos is my favorite thing in media.

This book is unique because it has different colors. I did art for my GCSE and I really like books to do with art.
